Whitney State Forest Reopening

I am pleased to announce that the Whitney State Forest will be reopened on Thursday July 15, 2010 around 4pm. Forester Joe Rossetti will be at the forest from approximately 4-7pm to answer any questions and talk about the harvesting operations. I do ask that people use caution while walking near the thinned pine area as there may still be branches hanging in the canopy. We appreciate everyone's patience while this important harvesting was completed. Thank you and please enjoy our beautiful forest!
